3-day tour to the Isle of Skye and the Highlands departing from Edinburgh

Dunvegan Castle
Este lugar destaca por su historia clanística además de por su impresionante ubicación junto a un lago.
One of the must-see stops on this trip around the Isle of Skye is Dunvegan Castle. On the west side, where the current chief of Clan MacCleod resides, Dunvengan Castle stands out. This castle is the perfect showcase of clan life, history and traditions such as the Rory Mor's Horn from which new chiefs have to pass a test and drink 2.5 litres of wine without stopping. This tradition is still done today to test the bravery and vigour of the new clan chiefs.
Dunvengan Castle is surrounded by gardens that could be a botanist's dream, as well as being on one of the great lochs of northern Scotland. Seals come here to take refuge from the voracious hunger of the whales that cannot enter the nooks and crannies that protect the majestic castle.
